Explorer Community School is a Lake Washington School District school operated with district funds. The Explorer Parent Association is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization which exists to provide further resources for the school.

The Parent Association raises money in a couple ways:

• The primary source is dues, which are collected from Explorer families. Dues were $200/student this year.
• Fundraising and corporate matching funds supplement our dues.

The money raised supports camp and additional enrichment programs that enhance the curriculum and support our students.
